James F. Apostol

James Apostol is vice president and chief operating officer of Pacific Pension & Investment Institute. He advances our mission through various operational and programmatic contributions and leads PPI’s engagement efforts with a global membership. Before joining PPI, James was deputy director of Harvard Law School’s Program on International Financial Systems. He served in various leadership roles at Harvard Law School, convening thought leaders for dialogue on international financial systems and developing executive education programs for regulators of securities markets. James holds a degree in literature from Boston University and an environmental management/sustainability degree from Harvard Extension School. He was a visiting fellow at the Center for Corporate Governance and Climate Change at the University of Chile, Santiago.
