Else Bos

Else Bos is non executive director at Ortec Finance and at IFM Investors. She retired from the Governing Board of De Nederlandsche Bank in February 2024 as Executive Director and Chair for Prudential Supervision. Her responsibilities included Insurance Supervision, Pension Supervision and Supervision Policy. Else held several secondary positions. In February 2020, she was appointed to the Board of Supervisors of the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA), and in March 2020 she joined EIOPA’s Management Board. Since 2022, Bos has been a member of the FSB Plenary (Financial Stability Board), and in March 2023, she joined the Executive Committee of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS). Prior to joining DNB's Governing Board, Else Bos was the CEO of pension provider PGGM (2013-2017). From 2012 to 2024, she was a Supervisory Board member of the Dutch National Opera & Ballet. In 2022 she became a board member to the NO&B fund.
